Chief Mate to Master Program

Introduction

This STCW-95 training program is designed for the experienced Mariner who wants to upgrade to Master’s level. This program offers all the requirements for the Mate to upgrade, including practical assessments of skill for evaluation of abilities, which are required by the USCG. The courses required for this upgrade are outlined below under the heading ‘Mate to Master'. For more information ask for our “Mate to Master Booklet”

 

 

Program Overview

Total clock hours for required courses: 420 hours

Total weeks to completes program: 12 weeks

Scope: After completing this training individuals will be ready to sit for the USCG Chief Mate/Master exams. Recommended sequence of courses:

CMM-CHS, VPEN, ECDIS, CMM-ADSTB, CMM-MPP, CMM-WKP, CMM-SHMGT1+2, CMM-ADVWX, CMM-SHS.
